Previously known as the Nursing Clinical Effectiveness Committee (NCEC), the Nursing Guideline Committee's purpose is to facilitate RCH-specific evidence-based practice through the development and maintenance of nursing guidelines. The committee is in a transition phase. For information on the new processes and governance plans please contact the quality team.
The Nursing Research Networking Group (NRNG) is an interest group which aims to empower and raise the profile of nurses interested in research through support, mentorship, education, collaboration and fostering of innovation. The chairs of NRNG are Sharon Kinney and Tania Ramos.

The Reflective Practice of Procedural holding group was formed off the back of the Procedural Holding Symposium research collaboration (Nov 2023) and RCH's Procedural Holding Research and Education Committee (PHREC). PHREC was established to coordinate research and education activities related to procedural holding within the RCH with multidisciplinary membership. Reflective Practice of Procedural Holding has now taken the reigns to facilitate a community of practice on the topic. For more information or to join, click here.
